Myrtlewood Pens

Handcrafted in Myrtle Point

Myrtlewood is a beautiful densely grainedwood, grown only in a few regions of the world. One of them, as you might guess, is Myrtle Point, Oregon. Unlike the wood of "normal" trees which have one set of concentric circles in the cross section, myrtlewood trees grow in a clump and then the trunks combine together, making wood with a number of sets of rings which gradually join together. The wood is prized by woodworkers because every piece has a different grain pattern and colors.

Our myrtlewood pens are hand-turned by a local craftsman from pieces of myrtlewood found locally. The pens have high quality mechanical parts and can be refilled.

We have three pen sizes available to match any hand size: designer (thin), standard (medium) and comfort (thick).
