These cotton washcloths are made with cotton fiber that is grown organically and never dyed (the cream color is the natural color). What touches your skin has not been chemically grown or processed - and you can feel the difference.
They are machine knitted by a small company. The texture is not completely smooth, so you get some scrubbing power without abrasiveness. And, amazingly enough, they get softer with age!
