Handcrafted Pottery Soap Dish - Myrtlewoodwith imprints of Oregon Myrtlewood leaves and berries |
|
|
The Myrtlewood tree is found in only a few areas of the world - one of them being the south coastal area of Oregon. Similar to a bay or laurel, it is fragrant and lovely to look at. It also produces a beautiful wood used for all types of custom woodworking. Carla has caputured myrtlewood leaves and berries by impressing them into this pottery soap dish. The result is a beautiful soap dish showcasing the leaf patterns and berry colors. It could be used to complement any bathroom, or alternatively be used as a small holding dish for keys or coins. While the artist has agreed to do similar pieces in generally the same size, every piece is hand-made and uses real plants, so no two pieces are identical. The picture on the right gives a good idea of what your final piece will look like. Finished size is about 3" by 4 1/2" and about 1/2" deep and will exactly fit our Handmade Soap. Ingredients: n/a $9.95 each (approx 3" x 4 1/2")
