Fasting offers many benefits to the body that many people are unaware of. I have fasted every week for almost a year. I think I understand these points and use them to keep my weight down. Along with diet and exercise, fasting has helped me lose 10 kilos compared to last year. One of the most popular fastings is dry fasting, which also offers many benefits. Here are some of the benefits of fasting that I experienced personally last year.
Promotes Better Sleep
You always want to finish your fast beyond the day, so you spend most of the previous hours in that sleep instead of thinking about how hungry you are. You have that dream as comfortably as in winter when it is warm under the blanket, and it is cold outside.
Good for Weight Loss
This is probably the most important reason why I started fasting, but it is not exactly what I consider the most important benefit. Again, you will need to change the rest of your diet and exercise program to maintain your muscle mass because your body cannibalizes its muscles, so you can eat quickly after you. After that, if you know how it affects you personally, you could use it to lose a few pounds when you are about to go to a high school reunion. There are many other people, but these are the main advantages of fasting that I have experienced personally.
Controlled Food Intake
I have found that fasting is useful in convincing you that you are responsible for your diet. Most men and women believe that it is a biological imperative to eat no less than three times a day. This is not the case. Your body can go much longer without eating, and it is a beautiful practice to choose not to eat, so you can understand that hunger is simply a sign. This is important information, but it is up to you to ignore it for a while.
Great for Detoxification
One of the most important benefits of fasting is detoxification. The entire body accumulates toxins that are produced during typical daily activities, so it is important to detoxify from time to time. To do this, the liver needs to take a break to protect itself from processed foods and focus on cleansing the blood. You will feel cleaner once you digest your last bite of food.
